The final day in Venice i was taken to draw the Grand Canal, packed with buildings and people and boats but with a finite amount of time i decided to focus in on just one of the many beautiful details, the lampost near me was ornate (actually the lamposts in venice were something that had constantly been catching me eye) and so in this drawing i just wanted to capture some of the essence of the scene.
