In summer with it's overgrown wysteria and vibrant greens, I love walking the path leading to our front door. The topics of my drawings are always things i love as this makes the process of creating the piece doubley enjoyable, and capturing this little moment where my home emerges from the foliage is another one of those things which makes me happy.

A lot of the foliage in this piece stands in the foreground and was something I spent a lot of time going into the details of as i wanted to create this ornate leafy frame which at times overwhelms the home itself.
